It’s deeper than that…

Let’s be very clear, we are seeing each other from a surface level. There are depths of us all that no one has yet to explore other than those we allow to dive deeply into us, and I mean our minds, hearts and souls. People have perceptions of others not knowing one another at all. For me personally I choose not to share certain parts of myself because I ask myself are they worthy of knowing the intricate parts of my mind & soul. We tend to shut others out after experiences that have not allowed us to be our true authentic selves. I don’t care about the algorithm or what’s trending. I care about the substance, I care about the 2 hour long conversations I have with my sister about ideas, love (on all levels), life and the way the mind body and spirit work. I care about the genuine interactions and connections in REAL LIFE. I’ve said this before but driving Uber and I mean ubering people not delivering food but actually picking up other human beings and having so many beautiful conversations that will never be known by others is truly fulfilling. It’s an energy you just can’t fake and those who know know. Making friends and connections with complete strangers. What happened to us speaking to our neighbors when we walk by each other and it’s only us on the sidewalk ? Like is that not completely weird that you can walk past someone and you not even look at each other. I’m looking at you idc because hello we are not here together in this moment for no reason. We have got to get back to humanity. We have got to get back to socializing in real life because real life is happening to us all. You don’t have to have a deep conversation with every single person you encounter but a simple smile will suffice. You don’t know how you are helping someone in this life ✨ I’m really not even expressing myself to the fullest extent and I’ll continue to find the way to express myself as I intended but it’s just odd to me. I’m more than just a selfie 🤳
